Composition

• Citrus Aurantifolia Fructus / bitter orange, lime: expectorant (a medicine which promotes the secretion of sputum by the air passages, used to treat coughs).
• Liquorice: reduces respiratory tract inflammation.
• Zingiberis Rhizoma / ginger: warms the throat.
• Thymi Herba / thyme: antiseptic, antifungal, good in case of cough and bronchitis.
• Menthae Folium / mint: relieves throat soreness and expectorant, antispasmodic in case of catarrh of the respiratory tract and inflammation of the respiratory tract and inflammation of the oral mucosa.
• Kaempferiae Rhizoma / ‘shan nai’, aromatic ginger: expectorant, energiser, warms the middle (abdominal) area, promotes digestion and alleviates cold pain in the abdomen and chest/lung distension (enduring cough, panting, and wheezing).
• Myristicae Semen / nutmeg: anti-oxidant, supports nervous and digestive systems (spleen, stomach and large intestine), reduces cough, assists in preventing chronic diarrhea, alleviates distending pain in stomach due to cold, vomiting and anorexia, warms the middle (abdomen) and promotes the natural free flow of energy.
• Blumeae Folium: expectorant, used by Indonesian people for uncomfortable conditions like influenza, menstruation pain, fever, cough, asthma, bronchitis, stomach upset, diarrhoea, and diabetes mellitus, boosts the immune system.
